Company Seeking Office Admin Assistant – Temporary position 5-6 month contract

Must be able to start 01 August 2022

 

KEY PERFORMANCE COMPETENCIES

Ensure compliance with company requirements

Procurement functions crucial to the daily running of the company

Administration duties crucial to the daily running of the company

 

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION

Minimum matric level of education

Basic Understanding and interpretation of the OHSA 85 of 1993

Basic level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office)

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Visible initiative and attention to details

Knowledge of Pastel will be advantageous

 

KEY PERFORMANCE OUTPUTS

Procurement duties

Ordering new units/spares

Issuing of purchase orders

Arrange collections with couriers

Checking & Booking in of orders as they arrive

Complete Petrol/ Diesel order notes

Processing of client orders

 

Administative duties

Invoicing

Booking in of repair jobs

Capturing Job cards/ Repair Quotations

Following up on outstanding Purchase Orders from customers

Following up of completion of jobs in workshop

Delivery notes

Sales and Repair Quotations

Answering of the telephone

 

IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS OF PERSON REQUIRED FOR POSITION

Ability to handle stress and to work under pressure

Ability to multi skill and prioritise tasks

Good verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail.
