SAPS Preliminary Trainee Application (2024/2025 Intake):
Age:
- Be at least 18 years old by 1 April 2024.
Citizenship:
- Be a South African citizen by birth or naturalization.
Education:
- Be in possession of a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with:
- A minimum achievement level of 4 (50%) in four subjects, which must include:
- Afrikaans or English (at least 50%)
- Mathematics (at least 40%)
- A minimum achievement level of 4 (50%) in four subjects, which must include:
Additional Requirements:
- Meet the prescribed minimum physical requirements set by SAPS.
- Have no criminal record or pending criminal cases.
- Meet the required visual acuity standards without corrective lenses.
- Be prepared to undergo a medical examination, psychological evaluation, and security vetting.
- Be prepared to relocate anywhere in South Africa.
