The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Public Safety (JMPD) Department has the accompanying short- term contract opportunities for a period NOT surpassing eighteen (year and a half.)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 and driver’s license.
Will be trained as Traffic Warden.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To watch a region as assigned out for the implementation of general regulations and order in terms of National Road Traffic Act, CoJ By-regulations.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Aid avoidance of Crime and Maintain Law and Order to guarantee the Execution of Duties in view of the Batho Pele Principles.
Enforce and execute the arrangements set out National Road Traffic Act, CoJ By-regulations to guarantee Public Safety Service Delivery in light of the Batho Pele Principles.
Participate in local area related administrations to guarantee public security administration conveyance in light of the Batho Pele Principles.
Help with executing crime prevention capacities to guarantee public security conveyance in view of the Batho Pele Principles.
