SALARY: R140 827 per annum (All-inclusive OSD revenue package)
CENTRE: Hartbeespoort

REQUIREMENTS: An Engineering diploma (B Eng/BSc (Eng) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Six (6) years publish qualification experience. Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Attach proof of registration). A legitimate driver’slicence. (Attach a copy) Knowledge in engineering sketch and analysis. Knowledge in lookup and development. Computer talent (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Outlook). Good verbal and written verbal exchange skills. Understanding of Public Service Regulations which includes PFMA. Must be in a position to work independently, self-motivated, responsible and reliable.

DUTIES: Design and specification of electrical (Heavy Current) and mechanical factors and systems. Oversee installations, trying out and commissioning of such factors and systems. Manage multifaceted format tasks inside the Directorate: Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Provide aid and improvement of Water and Sanitation Service’s Infrastructure. Provide assist in contract administration and administration. Inspect and/or take a look at infrastructure equipment, structures and installations along with guidance of reviews of the findings and recommendations. Compile, overview and remark on contract documentation proposals and Bids. Communicate and negotiate with contractors, consultants and purchasers of the Directorate. Formulate insurance policies and tips relative to the Directorate’s functions. Provide management and course to the Directorate. Provide help to manipulate economic allocations to initiatives and programs. Provide coaching and mentorship to candidate engineers and technicians inside the Directorate.
