Shell Garage Petrol Attendents Needed
Primary Responsibilities
Work as a team to perform receiving, storage, and loading operations while handling call-out maintenance and product delivery in accordance with existing agreements.
Make sure the customers always receive the proper product in safety
Follow and enforce HSSE guidelines, especially those relating to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
When drivers, contractors, crews, or personnel violate the law, remedy the situation.
Manage and direct the activities for product receiving, storage, and loading at the depot or terminal.
Application of depot handling and product transfer protocols, verification of oil products’ compliance with standards, and product control and measurement
Implement tank sampling and dipping, water draining, and tank cleaning. entry into tight spaces with a permit, avoiding electrostatic dangers, and operating at heights
Conduct product testing, quality control, and handling and dosage of fuel additives.
Execute firefighting, emergency preparedness, and management of oil spills Make sure the equipment is available to meet target standards. perform troubleshooting when systems malfunction
Being the terminal as the discharge’s representative Check to make sure there are no spills during discharge that could affect the environment and that the pumping pressure is not exceeded. Keep in touch with the Terminal Manager at all times.
In case of an emergency, the terminal operation supervisor will be able to stop the release.
aid TOS/STO in examining losses or gains Assist drivers under the gantry having issues.
Investigate spills under the gantry using the CCTV system in operation.
help with DGAME inquiries
Verify safe loading passes on trucks.
Key or Particular Challenges

fulfill the physical requirements for doing maintenance, repairs, etc., such as being giddy-free.

the capacity to mentor and coach operators and teach learners (allow for shadow).

Knowledge, Training, and Experience
Minimum Matric with Math, Science, and English, or an equivalent degree
5 years of professional experience, particularly in a Tank Farm Operations
mechanical skill
Investigations and reporting for HSSE-FIM
Good stakeholder communications, team leadership, and people management abilities.
Competencies:
Distribution Engineering & Technology – Knowledge HSSE Management – Knowledge FLBM Terminal Operations – Skill Product Handling and Control – Skill Depot Operations and Asset Management – Knowledge Authorized Gas Tester with a skill level that allows them to administer and approve MOC Computer and GSAP System SOT LPI / AGT FLBM, including PtW Assessment
